With 4 years of MMA training under my belt, along with three fights and multiple inter-clubs, I focus on specific techniques to enhance the client's skills and incorporate a variety of aspects for a comprehensive training session. Whether it's striking specifics or a flow of pad work rounds, my goal is to ensure quality work.

 

Witnessing the satisfaction of a happy client after a productive session, be it technical or fitness-oriented, is my ultimate motivation, as I strive to help individuals achieve their goals. I am passionate about helping others and am a firm believer in the continual process of learning, encouraging questions and always guiding my clients to find their answers. Combat sports have been my life for the past 5 years, I had been an avid fan of boxing and MMA as a kid and dreamed of possessing the skill level of the fighters I watched on tv. Through an unhealthy obsession of studying and training combat sports during the past four years, alongside currently studying BSC Performance analysis and coaching science at Derby University, I understand that through effective coaching and adjusting the coaching approach to suit individuals, the elites of boxing, kickboxing and MMA their levels are achievable by any individual. Per4mance is my service forged through 22years experience coaching and 16 years Personal training in the sports industry.The fitness industry is a complex network of fads, misinformation and dangerous diet plans, many of which I have unfortunatley tried. Having crossed the fitness minefield, I went on to source evidence-based training methods through a degree in strength and conditioning. I aim to empower my clients with knowledge, not fitness apps and bullshit celebrity-endorsments.

I have a BSc Honours degree in Strength and Conditioning, Nutritionist Mac Nutrition University, MSc in Strength and Conditioning (on going), CSCS Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist completing (2024). I’m also a level 3 Personal Trainer, Kettle bell instructor, circuit training instructor and have many CPD qualifications to include. Per4mance is for anybody who has their own personal objective and no matter how big or small, it needs a plan in order to account for your progress and not lose sight of your goals.
